This is Manuel Vargas, profesor de Jacques at the American School a few (make that many) years ago.
I have been writing about religion for a project at my university–California State University, San Marcos–and remembered a short discussion that I had with Jacques when he was in fourth grade with me (you were brilliant then and I know you must be brilliant now). Then, I wondered what may have been about this wonderful “Antebi” family I knew from my younger days. Googled it and, there you are.
Although I am an agnostic, I want to wish you peace as you go through life with dad.
I will always remember you as beautiful children from wonderful parents.
