In this 1920’s musical romatic comedy, a beautiful young woman named Goldele, who was abandoned as a child, receives an unexpected inheritance and sets off on a journey across the seas to claim her estate, find her mother and offer her hand to the man who can help. With a marvelous score by music virtuoso Joseph Rumshinsky, this Yiddish operetta is performed by a cast of 20 and accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra.

Greg Wall’s Klez for Kids July 10 from 11am-1pm
Museum of Jewish Heritage FREE
This award winning presentation for kids from 4 to 94 is a fast paced, highly entertaining introduction to Klezmer music and the instruments, the immigration experience and the Yiddish language. The show includes a re-creation of a shtetle wedding, complete with chossen and khalle. This program has entertained thousands and thousands of school children over the past 10 years, and delighted intergeneration audiences at shuls and museums throughout the Northeast.
