German Historian Anette Isaacs will present fascinating insights into life in Jewish DP camps from 1945 to 1948.
German born and raised Anette Isaacs is a Historian and Public Educator who has been presenting hundreds of programs on more than 40 different topics (all pertaining to her native country’s history, politics, and culture) all over the United States. Ms. Isaacs studied at Emory University, the University of Vienna and the Freie Universitaet in Berlin and holds Master’s Degrees in American Studies, Political Science, and History. She currently serves as the Arts & Culture Director at the Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches, one of the most significant Jewish Community Centers in America. She is also the artistic Director of the Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival which traditionally takes place each January in sunny Florida!
