I am deeply concerned about the recent actions of certain senators, particularly Senator Bernie Sanders, who have signed a letter to block aid to Israel. This action
reflects a horrible trend of anti-Israel sentiment which undermines the security of our only Middle Eastern ally, Israel.
My suggestion is that these senators instead of declining aid to Israel should focus instead on ensuring the safe return of hostages and supporting Israel’s right to defend itself.
Who is the culprit of this war and why should Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, et al not pay the price for their horrific criminal constant actions? Under their tyrannical leadership, Gaza
& West Bank Palestinians have for years thrown rockets and missiles at Israel. They have refused to carry on a peace treaty on multiple occasions.
The endorsement of these resolutions by anti-Zionist groups like Jewish Voice for Peace, which aligns with Students for Palestine, raises alarms about their impact on our communities. We must prioritize educating our youth about the realities of this conflict and countering these harmful narratives. They are filled with lies and our young people have become consumed with hatred and anger without understanding the situation or what they are doing. Our resources should be geared toward closing down these groups and the donors who back them.
Our leaders must recognize the importance of standing firmly with Israel during these challenging times.
