Tel Aviv is known for plenty of things: great beaches, booming start-ups, arty vibes and great night-life. But, it’s also filled with some of the most beautiful people in the world. Tel Aviv women and men are tan, fit and stylish, and it’s not just me who thinks so.
Traveler’s Digest has made it official, ranking Tel Aviv No. 10 on its 2012list of Cities with the Best-Looking Men, and No. 7 on it’slist of Cities with the Best-Looking Women.
“Tel Aviv has become a hot spot for trendsetters worldwide. Local cuties flaunt their fit bodies — made all the better by their year-round tans — at any of the numerous beaches and cafés found on the 10-mile seaside strip,” journalist Jessica Benavides Canepa wrote.
AskMen.com is on board, with Tel Aviv at No 9 for “Cities with Beautiful Women.” And Maxim seems to agree too. In their 2012 list of the 100 hottest women alive, they picked Israeli Supermodel Bar Rafaeli as the No. 1 hottest of all. Claiming that “she puts the ‘promise’ in promised-land”, Maxim sung the praises of this Israeli wonder, hailing from the norther Tel Aviv suburbs.
Everyone seems to have their own theory as to how/why Telavivians are so attractive. I personally think it’s a combination of mixed genes, great outdoor weather, beach-culture, balanced vegetable-rich diet and fashion-sense.
