Stanford Trust Company Limited (STC) remains in receivership whilst the receiver-managers continue their investigation into the affairs of STC. At this time, the receiver-managers have not concluded that STC should enter into liquidation, although for clients who hold Stanford International Bank (SIB) CD’s via trust arrangements with STC the position with the CD’s remains the same as for those investors who hold their CD’s directly with SIB.
