It’s Time to Say…”Shabbat Shalom”
Shabbat San Diego is Almost Here
We want to invite you and your family to join us in a meaningful and inspirational weekend, experiencing Shabbat San Diego.
On November 10-12th Jews from more than 900 , in nearly 90 countries, will unite to celebrate, in the largest global Shabbat experience ever.
The KEN is partnering with Shabbat San Diego and is seeking volunteers for different events:
1. Families that would like to host a Shabbat dinner at their home on Friday, November 11th.
Please register here and write in the section “synagogue affiliation” the name of the Ken Jewish Community.
2. Volunteers to help with this year’s Shabbat San Diego Challah Bake at the San Diego Jewish Academy. Volunteers will help us with prep work: measuring out all the ingredients and packaging them into containers. This event will commence at the San Diego Jewish Academy on Wednesday, November 2nd. Below you will find the schedule for this event. Please choose the days and times that suit you best. Any and all time you can volunteer will be greatly appreciated, come as much or as little as you can.

You would be responsible for making sure that the participants have adequate ingredients, answer their questions to the best of your knowledge and making it an enjoyable evening for all. It will be super fun!!!
Please email me at [email protected] or call/text 619-889-0394 to add your name to the volunteer list (Please be sure to include email address if texting).
Sincerely,
Mina Cohen
