We have no doubt that Iran plans includes the spread of its Islamic revolution, started by Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, to all possible geographies.
Its actions in broad daylight in Venezuela and the attacks carried out by Hezbollah in 1992 and 1994 in Latin America are enough proof of the above said.
What is not so well known is the iranian decision to invest in a platform that acts as a factory of misinformation, fake news and grievances named HispanTV, to reach the audience all over Spanish speaking countries.
This was the factory that took an by the time unknown leader who called upon the indignant people who gathered at Spain’ public squares to rant against the landlords, the system and the capital, proclaiming that his generation would never ever achieve to own a home.
That disturber is called Pablo Iglesias.
Iran catched that character and thanks to Hispan TV screen, raised him to the vicepresidency of the Spanish government, while living in a villa worth more than half a million euros, overcoming his old “indignation.”
Far beyond its unmistakable attachment to totalitarian schemes and a scandalously controversial alliance between populist vestiges and Islamic theocratic regimes of the Middle East, the relationship between Podemos (Iglesias`political party) and HispanTV caused a waterfall of complaints and accusations over the financing with Iranian capitals of a production company close to Iglesias.
Seven years ago, the euphoric Pablo Iglesias justified his relationship with Iran by alluding that this was a geopolitical matter. To Iglesias and the Podemos faction, whose entry into the government disturbed the classic stance of non-interference and respect for Israel’s right of existence that the Spanish bipartisanship sustained for decades, being the geopolitics the excuse to leak money, as well as Iranian influence in Spain.
From the Iranian network, not only has Iglesias had a meteoric disruptive rise in Spanish politics, but also allowed him to strengthen a very strong bond with it that ranked him almost as an emissary of Iran in Spanish territory rather than a candidate running for the presidency of the Madrid Community in 2021, and failed after the overwhelming victory of the current president Isabel Natividad Díaz Ayuso. This earned him the nickname of the Ayatollah of Spain.
Today Hispan TV set its eyes on Daniel Jadue, the Chilean Mayor of Recoleta district.
The communist presidential candidate who lost the elections against the current President Gabriel Boric, alternates the public function with the actual conduct of “Window to Palestine”, a TV program on the Iranian platform in Spanish.
Just as Iglesias referred to the Holocaust as a mere bureaucratic problem, Jadue was chosen by the Wiesenthal Center as one of the greatest global antisemites in 2020, which led his high school classmates to denounce that even at his early youth he hated the Jewish people with all his soul.
Days ago he once again starred in another episode by sustaining that being a left-wing Jew was a contradiction in itself because one could not aimed to the equality of all men in the world and at the same time identify as belonging to the supremacist ideology that comes from “the chosen people”.
It will be a strange thing to see the defense -from that point of view-, of a regime that promotes the punishment of women seeking for equal rights, of those who intend to disagree with official policies or question the Ayatollahs’ decisions. Could it be that for some communists some religions are not the Opium of the people?
Clearly, being a spokesperson for HispanTV includes in the requirements box, hating Israel and promoting Jew-hatred, such as the current official policy of the Iranian regime.
The Podemos faction, today almost politically disappeared from Madrid, began with Pablo Iglesias a very similar path to that begun by Daniel Jadue in Chile: widespread from the ostracism the anti-Israel agenda at a time when Antisemitism is exponentially rising worldwide and Iran is recruiting their agents to expand the existential threat.
Extravagant political and communication experiments can become a growing threat when, in their short and meteoric expansionism, manage to strengthen its ties with the financiers of terror.
The truth is that today we can see two new Ayatollahs in Spanish speaking countries.
