Dear Members and Friends:
I invite you to attend the final event of our busy 2015-16 season, “Mazal Tov Amigos,” which will be given this Sunday, June 19th at 8 PM at the Center for Jewish History.
The title of the event is also the subtitle of a new book about “Jews and Popular Music in the Americas,” an intriguing subject too often overlooked. The editors of the book, as well as one of the contributors, will speak before a concert by two wonderful bands.
As with all Jewish Music Forum programs, the event is free. Please see the information on the flyer below to reserve your seats. We are pleased to collaborate with our partner at Center, the American Jewish Historical Society which presents its 2016 Biennial Scholar’s Conference.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
Michael Leavitt
President
