The international governing body for rugby, World Rugby, ruled that the South African Rugby Union’s (SARU) move to disinvite the Israeli team Tel Aviv Heat from a competition last month… was not ANTISEMITIC. Below are the real reasons.
I lost count of how many antisemitic attacks the South African government has made against Israel.
Now their antisemitic terrorism extends to Rugby which also include other bodies like World Rugby whose position on the disinvitation is unequivocally antisemitic.
South Africa is a country with a failed economy which causes them to be jealous of Israel.
The World Bank Group (WBG) Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for 2022-2026, identifies five binding constraints to socio-economic transition, reducing poverty, and boosting shared prosperity. They are: “(I)insufficient skills; (ii) the skewed distribution of land and productive assets, and weak property rights; (iii) low competition and low integration in regional and global value chains; (iv) limited or expensive connectivity, and underserviced, historically disadvantaged settlements; and (v) climate change and the transition to the low-carbon economy, as well as water insecurity “. SOUTH AFRICA LACKS ON ALL
On the other hand. “The economy of Israel is a highly developed free-market economy. The prosperity of Israel’s advanced economy allows the country to have a sophisticated welfare state, a powerful modern military said to possess a nuclear-weapons capability with a full nuclear triad, modern infrastructure rivaling many Western countries, and a high-technology sector competitively on par with Silicon Valley. Yes, this small country ISRAEL surpasses S Africa by far.
ISRAEL has the second-largest number of startup companies in the world after the United States, and the third-largest number of NASDAQ-listed companies after the U.S. and China. American companies, such as Intel, Microsoft, and Apple, built their first overseas research and development facilities in Israel. More than 400 high-tech multi-national corporations, such as IBM, Google, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco Systems, Facebook and Motorola have opened R&D centers in the country.
Is South Africa a happy country? I think not seeing that they are number 85 on the list; ISRAEL is #4.
In other words, South Africa should be kissing Israel’s rear end so that they can be taught by them how to grow their economy and achieve happiness. So, in order to divest from their poor country management, they would rather make news by boycotting a most successful country.
